Today was the first day of uni and the first day of 260 DVA.
I don't know how to feel about it at the moment, after going through the brief in class; It's not something that excites me nor do I retain much of an interest regarding the project. But, that is life really. I am going to have to do things I don't really uphold an interest in, so I am not overly fussed, I might enjoy it. I guess it's just too early to tell at this stage.
However, The afternoon session today, admittedly I wasn't looking forward to it, but as time passed myself and my group of Vickie, Alice and Quynh really got stuck in and found a subject we could create some form of a social movement from:
Kanye West for President.
We proceeded to create placards, for the campaign and from the feedback we got, it was positive, it was humorous and caught attention from people, we added quotes from him and continued to create a smaller one with a catchy slogan on it. 'YAY FOR KANYE', 'I AM GODS VESSEL'.
By doing this follow through activity it motivated me a little, I started looking forward to what I can do with this project, so long as i can pick a topic I am passionate about and will allow me to keep my interest regarding it.
